I have severe back ache which is making my legs give way occasionally, have a MW appt on monday to get a bump strap.....asking a 90 year old client to help me get up off the floor is a bit embarrassing tbh.

Albert seems to have developed a talent for breakdancing and is really throwing himself around .....but the hamster isn't very impressed with it. Bear was resting on my bump the other night and received an almighty kick up the ass  the look on his face was a picture and he still has the hump about it.

Carrying up front is really hard bloomin work, I love my bump but am wishing for a cold snap to make Bertie snuggle backwards *sigh* xxxxxxxxxx

Bad backs are not nice. I've been suffering too and just been given painkillers which I don't want to rely on because doc said they make the baby sleepy. Seeing as though I have only recently been feeling kicks everyday I don't want that to stop :(

I am taking matters into my own hands now and have ordered a pregnancy yoga book, I have 2 belts that my friend has given me and a pillow for sleeping. Hopefully it will help, the lack of sleep is not much fun.

I'm doing cat and camel exercises too to strengthen my muscles.

Are the belts helping? I'm going to ask mw about elective c-section cos of my back. I'm bigger now than my friend was at full term and I am not looking forward to the weight and the risk of breaking it again. Trying to avoid going up and down stairs too in case my leg gives way.

I might try the yoga too, has it helped you yet or is it too early to tell really? xxxxxxx

I haven't got my book yet and only got the belts yesterday so i dont know how effective they are yet.

The cat and camel exercises help though. They make my back feel more stable.

I'll try them once OH gets home in case I get stuck lol....would give the window cleaner something to think about huh
