Can't Do Washing Up!

This is really strange but the smell of my kitchen sink is making me gag!

I know you're all probably thinking it must be filthy or my drains are blocked (my sink drains, not mine personally! ) but I have scrubbed the thing so clean you could eat your dinner off it. The drain has had more bleach and unblockers down it than I can afford, and my dish cloths are being replaced every other day and yet I can still smell it!!! Aaaaargh!!!

I'm the only one who can smell it, and it's been like this ever since I got pregnant!

Anyone else finding mysterious smells around the place?

Sorry for the rant but I'm on the verge of ripping it out and buying a new one!

I had exactly the same thing when I was first pregnant with Isaac. I couldn't even look at my sink it made me heave so bad and like you say its not even when its mucky, its ALL the time! You won't feel like this for long though hopefully, mine didn't last long

I feel really sick when trying to empty and clean my son's packed lunch box, i have to get my husband to do it! But today i have discovered the greatest thing.........motion sickness bands. They are great I have worn them all day and not felt half as sick as i normally do. They are helping me out big time! You should give them a go xxx

This sounds ridiculous, but when I was pregnant with Zachary we moved into a new house and the smell of it made me heave constantly!!!! I kept moaning to DH that it smelt and all the family and they thought I was off my trolley, but my nose was so sensitive!

Hehe we've not long moved and the smell of it is making me feel bad too, it's the carpet, my family think i'm bonkers cos they can't smell it, i've even used tons of fabreeze - so much so that i'm now sick of the smell of this too! Next step is hiring a carpet cleaner, even though i know it was done before we moved it might work! (as well as washing the dishes, i think it's the smell of the soapy water, omg and the smell of wet grass and picking weeds for my tortoises)

i had the exact same problem. and the dishwasher, even when it had just finished cleaning till had a funny smell that had me running for the bathroom

For me its the smell of the fridge! its rank yet my OH cant smell it and there is nothing off in there and ive cleaned it out I dont know how many times!

Phew! So glad it's not just me then! I can't wait for it to wear off - OH isn't very good at washing up! Or ironing. Or hoovering! Bless him - at least he's the designated dog walker - I'd rather do the housework than walk the dogs twice every day!

ewwww yeah fridges aswell

you know how cheap black bin bags have a funny plastic smell .... for about 3 weeks i couldnt go near them with out holding my breath
