Canesten Pessaries

Went to the docs this morning he was not nice at all realy nasty with me i was almost in tears, he gave me canesten cream and the pessariies he said when using them dont put them to far in as it will hurt the baby!
Has anyone used them? are they safe for the baby?

 

Yes hun they are safe, you can't have the tablets though when you are pregnant, hence the pessaries xx

Thanks, I was'nt sure as when I had my son they could only give me the cream, but that was about 6 years ago!

i dont think id risk the pessaries hun see if you can just use the cream that normally works fine for me xxx

Hey sweetie i ahd something similar, not quite the smae...

i had bacterial vaginosis, and they gave me clyndamicin *sp* vaginal cream, which i had to inject with a syring thing INTO my vagina like deep in. i was hysterical thinking my god, this will damage the baby, but it didnt and everythign is fine. the doc wudnt give you something when they know ur pregnant if its harmful.

Thank god it was'nt my normal doctor, he was off but when he gets back i am going to report this nob to him.
my mum had the same the other day she is on steroids for a muscle desise and she went to see the same doctor and he stoped the steroids said she was making a big deal about it she now feels like crap

I used the pessaries when I was pg with Ella, just be careful you don't put it too far up with that stick thing and you'll be fine
