Charlie's been in bed for just over half an hour, and usually ill leave him to it whilst I go tidy the bathroom after hos bath and just potter about upstairs but tonight kust decided to sit in the chair in his room. im out of sight and im just playing on my phone with the light low and not making a sound and hes still awake. Not crying or anything just playing with his dummy, he was certainly tired before, just wondering of he can sense me? X

I don't know for sure but I think they do sense us and know when they feel secure x

Me too, I left the room as although I felt mean I felt like I was keeping him up, but he took another 20 mins and dummy messing to sleep. I found myself rocking in the chair whilst I was sat in his room, purely out of habit lol after about 10 mins I suddenly realised like what the hell am I doing x
