Try the sing and sign DVD's hun. Thea has loved them since she was tiny and even if you arent interested in signing as a form of communication it does make for great song actions!
I cant really help with the swing because i've never personally had one but i know that my cousins little girl is 10 months and has a swing from toysrus in the house but im not sure which one it is.

I did see that one, will get that one seeing as I now have a recommendation.

we are considering an outdoor swing now...in a bid to not let the cold weather stop us taking Imogen out for play in the garden!!
