thinking of getting one for the spare room. Have guests maybe once a month but OH may need it in future for when he's on shifts.
So it needs to be a more comfortable bed than sofa IYKWIM - it will not really be used as a sofa. We have a 4ft bed in there at mo but want to free up some space.
Ta girls.

Can I reccomend what not to buy??

My OH used to have this

it's the most uncomfortable thing I ever slept on !! I refused to let him bring it when he moved in with me

I second that! My PIL have got something similar and I try very hard to think of excuses not to stay over! I think the worst one was 7 months pregnant trying to get up from the floor after 'sleeping' on it!

We used to have one like that - wasnt from Argos tho and it was REALLY comfy!!!

What about something like this, and then when it is not needed it takes up no space. We have one that the inlaws use when they come over from the states and it is really comfy too!!
It is the hight of a normal double bed so no crouching down on the floor
