yep you'll now need one with room for a small pony  .
its amazing how much room you need for a child. Hence our mansion

where were you camped in those pictures? i like the surrounding trees etc.

We have a cheap tent, but it's big, I've never slept in it, neither has anyone else... yet... might get braver this summer 8)

When rileys older Urchin you could always brave it in your back yard!

We have a 3 bedroom Eurohike, we usually use it once or twice a year, we also have a caravan but need an awning.

Havent been with the Children yet though, If we get some warmer weather we might brave it :D

We were in the lake district in Feb! :rotfl: Bloody cold!
We were suppose to go to Venice but OH lost his passport a few days before. So we brought the 1st tent, but it leaked so brought the second. It turned out to be a great holiday and we got to take our dog too :D We've been camping loads in the second, in Sussex, Surrey and the new forest (15 weeks pregnant!)

We def have to get a nice new big one now :D

We were planning on buying a tent.

Can anyone tell me what sort of spec they need. Ive seen cheap ones in Tesco and HAlfords are they good enough.

We would need at least a two bed, would we be better with 3.
Me Bri, 9 year old 8 year old and bubs next year?

I wonder that too, we have a cheap tesco one, sleeps about 4-5 but was only 30 quid, will it fall apart? LOL

  ive been camping my whole life (all my childhood holidays were camping) (and im on my 13th music festival next week :D ) and i srtill dont know all them rainfall measurment thingys ect. What i go for is a name. Vango being my favourite. I think you always get quality if its a famourse 'camping' brand.

I wouldnt go too cheap, my friend got one of those £12 tents from TJ Hughes... and she might as well of had no tent. The rain came straight through.

You can get very decent 2-3 man tents for about £30 on ebay. (that would certinly do for a weekend/week away.

get a decent tent. don't pat less than £200 for one. Avoid tunnel tents.
Borrow a tent before you buy to see if you like camping.

There are camping exhibitions all over the country where you can view erect tents and see what you like. :)

IM FREE.

Sorry, someone had to do it.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

OK, somebody convert me....Budge?

I HATE the idea of camping. Ever since I was forced to go to Girl Guide camp when I was 11. Bad memories.

Now that I'm a single mum though it's about all I can afford, and I?m sure the kids would love it.... :|

mods can you please move this thread to adult section or pictures section please
