when are you supposed to start burping your baby? Mine feeds and goes straight to sleep so ive not seen any need to do it . i guess I'll know when i'm supposed to??

Hi hun, I was told in hospital to burp Daniel after every feed, so I have been doing this and he's let out a few big ones

 to little Anjali :D

oh :? mine doesnt seem to have any trapped air , wouldnt she cry if she did?

I always burped him if he started to fall asleep on the boob, then always when he had finished feeding. If I didn't do this he would have woken up to get winded. I'm sure your LO will let you know if she had wind, but I would always try to burp them before it gets sore iykwim x

I never burped ryan while i was breast feeding but i do after every bottle feed as he gets really windy altho in the night i probably dont burp him for as long as i should!!
