However the last time Riven was measured he was 1 1/2 cm's bigger than he should have been!!

Here he is:

Looking at your bump, i'd say it was huge! It's lovely and round! I think it depends on how tall you are. My bump seems to stick out half a mile, but i'm only just over 5ft so I guess it's got nowhere else to go!

I dont think there's nothing wrong with that, not everyone will carry the same anyway hun, as long as the mw is happy with ur measurements there's nothing to worry about xxx

Dont compare yourself to much love! At my antenatal classes I had the smallest bump but was the furthest along lol. I kinda took a little pride in it tbh :) xxx

Your bigger than I am now hun and I'm about to pop!
Its all to do with height.
I'm tall so have managed to hide him well.
Mw is happy with measurements so thats all that matters.
Chin up hun!
X

It's weird, it's the only thing that is making me paranoid at the moment lol!!

I am 5ft 3 so not that tall..... ahh well as long as the boy baby is ok and growing right all is good...........

Thanks Ladies xxxx

i think your bump is perfect- I have my first class tonight eeeeek!

It's lovely and round! It just doesn't stick out like a football like some bumps! I measure exactly right for my dates but i constantly have people telling me I am huge, as my bump is all out the front and nothing at the sides! Plus I am only just over 5 foot, so like babyelmo, my baby doesn't really have anywhere to go other than out! I know you're only a little taller but it makes a difference!
I really wouln't worry, if baby measures ok then that's all that matters! And make the most of not being so sticky outy! :) xxxx

I enjoyed my NHS classes actually, I was um-ing and arg-ing over going sand made a split second decision to go :)

We have NCT ones booked as well which I think are a bit more in depth :) so I am looking forward to those as well....

I keep getting told I'm neat, I love having a cute neat bump. I'm measuring spot on.
My theory, smaller now easyer to get bk into my own clothes

I am fully expecting this as well hun. I'm carrying quite small and have a very neat bump, which I love, but I fully expect to be tiny compared to a lot of the others in our antenatal class. Like Angie said I'm hoping it means I'll get back into my old clothes quicker :) xxx

Try not to worry Hun, I'm also small in height 5ft 1in sometimes my bump looks tiny and overs times if sticks out a mile. My OH says it doesn't look normal on me but all is well. Your be fine xxx

smaller bump means smaller baby most times so look forward to having a sweet tiny bundle. I was proud in a way my son was only 6lb 10 oz born and I saw some heavy beefy ones and I felt sorry for them.

In a way I am glad I'm not measuring too big either because I know my baby is growing nicely and not getting too effected my my gestational diabetes x

I feel this way too sometimes. I keep getting told my bump is neat and it was measuring 26cm when last at MW at 25w3d so pretty much spot on. I hope it stays that way as I also think smaller bump quicker to get into normal clothes.

I am still getting this a lot, but I feel huge some days. Yesterday I was asked if I wasn't eating enough... sheesh. I could eat a horse. I would say that mine looks small to middling in size for 29 weeks, but at my last MW appointment the measurements were fine. Don't let people's comments bother you. xx

I'm measuring about 2cm's under, but MW says it's just a small baby. At my scan last Week all measurements were fine and I was told that baby is curled up, so that may be giving a smaller measurement when done with the tape by MW. They also told me that as I'm only small ,(5'2"), and my OH isn't massive it's all relative. I feel huge, but Mum says I'm small!! If your MW/Doctor is happy with baby's growth I wouldn't worry :)

Sorry to tri-hop but was just wondering if you think it is worth going to the NHS and NCT ones? We had NHS ones booked but my OH can't make them so have booked NCT ones and was going to cancel NHS ones..

OH was really keen on going to the Antenatal classes with me, unfortunately he couldn;t make the NHS ones so I am glad that I booked the NCT ones.

Also after going to the NHS ones and then looking at the recent ante natal classes thread I don't think I actually learnt that much so I am hoping the NCT ones will give me more if you get my meaning :)

I googled 28 week baby bump earlier and the difference in sizes of bump is unreal. Think I'll just go with the flow now and be happy that people seem to think mine is small for how far on I am :-)
