Britain's 'Most Unfortunate Names'

LOVE them

Especially Anna Sassin

 Love them

When Joe was in neonatal they had a little baby called Jack Russell

Who would name their child Jack Russell?! You can see how some could be easy mistakes that nobody would notice at first, like Jenny Taylor, but are some parents just determined to make their child's life hell?!

My hubby taught a lad called Marvin Gaye - more a namesake than an unfortunate name BUT I got a call one day from his FIL (when I worked at that school) and while I was having a giggle with him about his son in law's name, the bloke said 'wait till you hear my name........Robert Sleigh......or Bob to my friends....'

Bob Sleigh

Mamafy I assume Jenny Taylor was saying it sounded like genitalia... at least that's not quite what it says but I'm sure kids at school would still have had some fun with it

A comment from one of the linked articles at the top:

My unusual name hasn't affected me at all; in fact, it has helped me make friends and improve my confidence, especially since leaving school.
Russell Sprout, London, UK

  I am going to go into labour!!! RUSSELL SPROUT!!!!!

That's the best one by far!!

 my dad was in the RAF with a guy who christened his kid Wayne Kerr  i'm trying to think of the surname of these people we used to get in work, it was well rude and i just cant remember!!

my sister knows a girl whose name is pronounced "shmell myfanny" cant remember how its spelt!

My baby will be taking my OH's surname, which is Power. We've been having fun thinking of funny names, like Flower, Solar etc etc, but then realised there were some 'traditional' names we couldn't go for either, after all Will Power would sound pretty stupid lol! Couldn't really do the double-barrelled thing either cos then the poor little thing would be a Power-Turner hehe
