Breast Pain

I have a stabbing pain in my left breast. It came on fairly suddenly yesterday and i'm not sure wat it is. I don't seem to have any other symptoms of thrush or mastitis so the only things I can put it down to is that i've been a bit rough whilst expressing milk or ecause Lilly's behavior has been really off her night time feeding patterns have changed, she's gone from feeding every 2/3 hours to being so exausted that she sleeps ro 4/5/6 hours at a time so the other thing it may be is engorgement but a) its only in one boob and b) she's fed really well from that one so far today and it still hurts....

Any ideas?

Hey hon, I had this when I had thrush - have u looked in little one's mouth to see if u think there might be thrush there? it was the first symptom I got before itching etc x x

Damm Havn't noticed anything in her mouth as yet, its a little hard to see amongst all the drool Do I have to go to the docs or can i get something over the counter? Or can I treat it without medicine?
