Breast milk has gone

Bit sad.. But I've hardly any milk left now. I only need to express once a day! I suppose I could build it up again now that the mastitis is leaving. But do I want to?! Sounds selfish but with Easter coming up I won't be able to go to bed and build it up & it will be easier bringing bottles when we go out.

I don't know what the point of this thread is, I suppose it's just sad knowing my bf days are over so soon.

i cried for 2 weeks when i stopped breast feeding but amelia has been loads happier and more content being on the bottle but dont think its any easier than breast feeding x

I was sad to stop breastfeeding but were all happier now cos dh can be more involved and I have started my hairdressing again. Just think of how many days/weeks u have breastfed for and feel proud of every feed u have given knowing that u have given ur little one the best start in life

aw when I stopped expressing or Ellie it was so upsetting but I found that when we went to visit Ellie when she was still in neonatal I hardly got anytime with her as I was always in the breastfeeding room expressing mil for her so I stopped giving her total BM and mix fed her with formula and BM xx
