breaking up for christmas!

I'm sooooo jealous!!! We break up next friday until 4th Jan, so almost a fortnight off only one more week (ish) until I get a break from work - whoopee!!!

A shame you don't break up earlier as you being poorly etc could be a sign to say you're doing too much!

Try to chill out a bit after work and don't want to be hearing of anymore 12 hour days missy

I'll do my best, will only be here till 6.30 tonight as we're out for a meal with our friends who goes to Oz on Saturday - then tomorrow night we have a xmas dinner party with our neighbours @7pm so I won't be working lat then either! (we live in an apartment block in the city centre so its a nice little community where we live and we all get together every now and then).

I'm finishing work next Wednesday! So excited, maternity leave officially starts 16th January (I had to take it as early as possible because of moving house) but I'm on holiday until then. Wouldn't have chosen to stop work quite so early in different circumstances but sooooo looking forward to it now!!!

We're having an office party next thursday so wont be doing any owrk then, and half day friday then off till 2nd jan yay!!!

my OH is a retail manager so only gets xmas and boxing day off

Finish next friday too-start my maternity leave officially after christmas break on 7th Jan, baby due 8th.
Its been hard work working up till now, I am shattered but at least once I finish, there will be 2 weeks left before bubba arrives, and with Chrimbo and New Year, it should fly by!!!

I have been totally and utterly terrified to be honest and have dreaded the birth for months...
The past week tho, I feel I have turned a corner and I think its down to my Parent Craft classes and talking to the midwives and now I am starting to get butterflies of excitement. I cant believe its nearly here, and I am going to be a mummy, after years of longing for a baby!!

I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve at the mo, and OH said I am restless, as I cant keep still.

I am still dreading the birth Kirl but cant wait to find out the sex and see his/her little face now. There are 3 of us in work all due within a week of each other, and the other 2 are having boys, so we are dying to know if its a hat trick!!
