Both my boys were planned c-section, as in the eyes of a previous doctor "I was not to fit a baby in there" .... there being in my tummy, as I have problems with my back/spine and so was told that I couldn't have a baby of my own. However, a year later I found out that I was actually pregnant and was monitored closely throughout and they thought I would only get to 28 weeks before having to deliver the baby, but Jordan managed to stay in until almost 33 weeks and had no problems whatsoever and weighed 4lb 0.5 oz. So Jordan was our little miracle to say the least
Then last year I was ill and when I visited the GP I told her I thought I could be pregnant, but tests showed up negative or nothing
it wasn't until I was almost 10 weeks pregnant before it showed up!!! So I went back to the Specialist who I had been under with Jordan and again was regularly monitored, but this time there was a few more difficulties... with me being older and my spine/back I had been told was deteriorating, so this time was a more worrying time and again they thought I wouldn't go as far as Jordan, but Brandon laid differently and so was able to go that bit further with him. I was planned to have my c-section on 31 Jan (Brandon would have been 34 weeks exactly), but it had to be brought forward as the Anathetist wasn't available on that day, but like I said Brandon had other ideas and my waters broke the night before and I was taken into hospital and was operated on by a different team and Brandon arrived at 6:55 pm, unfortunately due to the anaesthetic (both times I had to be put to sleep) Brandon was born with breathing difficulties and was ventilated for first 24 hours, then taken off it, but later had further troubles including an infection. But is fine now and we were allowed to take him home 13 days later
Both my boys mean the world to me, especially as they are not even supposed to be here if I had listened to the doctors.... good job I never do lol and I am so lucky that they were born without any problems and have done so well.
