I am still struggling with names...

Here is "the list":

- Finn
- Jacob / Jake
- Isaac
- Leo
- Eliot
- Simon
- Samuel
- Niko

Opinions please? Surname is Marsella.

They are all cute and you have an eclectic mix there Hun!

My faves are Eliot, Leo and Finn in that order.

Not heard the name simon for ages, I have known sme lovely lads called that

Dont like Niko, theres a little hooligan who lives near us and steals things called Niko, like finn and Elliot the best !

Love Isaac  Think Jacob and Eliot are very beautiful names too, you have a tough list to choose from there Ani!! Very best wishe

DH hates Finn and Eliot so they are a no-no. I am so annoyed - I love those names.

OK OK OK... Niko is out too! :) Too many people have begged me not to cann our child Niko. :rotfl:

I think DH likes Leo (his 1st choice), Jacob, Samuel and Simon. The name Simon is really growing on me... I have a friend called Simon, have known him all my life and am going to his wedding next month in Greece in fact. He is going to be chuffed to bits if we call our baby son Simon even though it is not after him at all... :D

I'm biased but Samuel is a great name :D

I love it too but I am thinking now:

Samuel Marsella O' Donnell - are there too many Ms and Ls in the name?? (in Spain, the child MUST take both names, Marsella being DH and O Donnell being me). I think it might be a bit of a mouthful. :wall:

OK, so now Jacob and Simon are out, due to how they are pronounced in Spanish (Hak-oko and See-mon).

The final three are:

Leo
Samuel
Isaac

All of these sound beautiful in Spanish as well as English. :) Now it is just a matter of deciding which one...

I feel for ya hun... we had to make sure we picked a name for lil miss that sounded right in Spanish, English and Swedish... it was bloody hard... :x

I like Leo...

Spaniards would probably say Eee-sack for Issac and Sam-well or Sam u ell for Samuel and I think it sounds odd...

I'm going for Leo...I associate it with a mate who is really cool and very original :D

I actually like the way Isaac and Samuel are pronounced in Spanish :D

Wow! Spanish, English and Swedish! Not sure if its just a Danish thing or all of Scandinavia but my Danish friends absolutely despise Leo. They are like "please dont call your child Leo" as I guess it is an ugly name there. Is it the same in Sweden? (just out of curiosity)

I liked the way Serena was pronounced in Spanish (ser ren a) much nicer than the English ser reeena .... so shes Ser ren a... :)

I don't know why they don't like Leo... DH said the country's flat, what do you expect...but I'm not sure if thats a Scandinavian in joke
