Just wondered who reads to baby? and if so what?

I've ordered some story books for Harrison you see :D

I read anything to ellie in a story kind of voice and she likes it, dont think it matter what u read when they are this young really does it. We do have some story books aswell which we read to her :D

What books have u got for Harrison? :cheer:

OH reads the yellow pages to alice (she tends to rip out pages, so its free!!!). :rotfl:

also, i read her the local paper (only the nice stories), and any odd book i pick up from a charity shop / pound shop.

alice will sit and listen to anything being read. she always has, and i hope she will for a long time to come.

I don't like spending a fortune on books as they don't last long in our house!

I love that book!! It makes me cry!! We have Peter Rabbit and a few younger books like Chicken Licken for Ella but haven't read them to her yet. Also, we have stories on CDs which my step-dad collected from the paper throughout my pregnancy and I put those on for her while she is playing so I can get on with other jobs :)

My friend reads those "that's not my...monster/kitten/robot etc" books to her baby who seems to enjoy them.

I've bought over 100 books for baby

I use school link - www.schoollink.co.uk

The books are really cheap, they ave loads of fantastic offers and 10% of your spend is donated to a school of your choice. :D

Isaac loved Happy baby that he got free with his book start pack that you get from your HV and his all time favourite that he still loves now is Hungry Caterpillar. He also loves the Elmer books and the Big word books that have lots of pictures in of everyday things.
