Hi Ladies

I was a 34E before getting pregnant and now my bras do not fit I am badly popping out! I am going to go shopping Saturday to get some more as mine are digging in everywhere and really sore. I am only a little bit pregnant so am praying they stop expanding at such a rate!!

I heard that you shouldn't wear under-wired bras when pregnant is this true?

Any help on this will be appreciated!

Me too :( I'm also 34e and had to go out and buy pregnancy sleeping bras because they are really painful and bouncing about all over the place in my sleep.
I just keep catching a view of myself in the mirror and I just think jeez they can have gotten that big already!! Lol

Ha Ha! I didn't even know they had such a thing, this forum is fab! I will google those beauties now!!

To be honest they look like mini vest tops but if they stop me jiggling about and help me get a good nights sleep they'll do nicely lol

I'm a 34e also! Well def was before pregnancy anyway but they dig in everywhere now! Feeling your pain ladies, I dread to think what it'll be like later on in pregnancy :-o I have difficulty finding nice bras as it is just now xxx

I'm a 36D or I was before I got pregnant, only a handful of bras fit me now. I find it so uncomfortable to sleep as my boobs kill. Where did you get the sleeping bras from if you don't mind me asking? I've never heard of them.
Plus how soon do you have to stop wearing underwired ones?

Got them from mothercare, £18 for two. The come in dress size rather than bra size so hopefully they'll be comfortable without feeling to tight/digging in like my bras.
They do sleeping/nursing ones too for after baby is born. I shall be wearing them tonight so will give you my verdict tomorrow lol

Thanks, it'll be interesting to hear how you get on.

I think the underwired ones are meant to possibly affect your milk production so really only a problem nearer the end.

Well...... They were comfy and I slept quiet well. The only thing I would say is go for the next size up, I got size 12 and I can see I'll grow out of them quiet quickly. They have adjustable straps so if I had got the 14 they may last me longer.
Definitely better than wearing a bra to bed or nothing at all though! :)

Thanks tinks77! I will be buying some on Saturday! I think I am going to carry on with the under wire, I cant imagine buying a bra without under wire - I will be kicking them as I walk!!

Thanks ladies, going to have a look at the website now, I'm so glad I don't have to give up on the underwiring yet!

34f before pregnancy, now, god knows what size, they keep feeling tingly at night then am sure they grow overnight to be a bit bigger.

Getting some sleep bras and maternity bras tomorrow, hoping to sort the problem

I was a 30/32G before pregnancy, 34F/G during pregnancy and I'm now a 32K!!!

Make sure you get the right size bras ladies it makes such a difference.

Ps - I haven't had an underwired bra for nearly a year. You need soft cup bras so it doesn't hamper your milk production.

at what stage of pregnancy should we be ditching the wires?

xx

Samsgirl. wires feel uncomfortable for me, so I've ditched them already, found my good old sports bras are better, but getting proper ones tomorrow!

Samsgirl - asap! Got my first maternity bra when I was 4 weeks pregnant. The woman in mothercare told me off for wearing wires when I went to get re-measured at 10 weeks wearing an old bra.

i have just ordered a maternity bra and 2 sleeping bras from mothercare :D xx

i have very good bras anyway...quite expensive ones....so they dont tend to dig in. i lost a bit of weight before getting pregnant so have a bit of room for maneouvre in them still..ha ha xx

best thing I did over the weekend was to get my new bras, felt the difference instantly, gone up a back size and two cup sizes already
