What do you need in regards to bowls spoons, knife and forks etc?

When we were starting out we just put the food on the table and let him go at it with fingers. Lol. Then as he got older we got a ridged plate and a fork and spoon set.

I put it on the highchair but sometimes give him a spoon as well. We've got one of those sticky mat things to hold his bowl down but I find if he has too much food he's overwhelmed and gets grumpy and throws it so we put a few bits on at a time. I use his top tail bowl and a flannel to wash him instead of wipes otherwise you would go through loads! You need loads of bibs too! Or wipeable bibs! We used to put a shower curtain on the floor to catch food but I dont bother now as the dog is a brilliant Hoover!

I might just start washing her too lol tis a much better idea as I use 5 or 6 bibs after each meal most of the time x

Good idea on the washing down thing Sarah! I have been buying cheapy wipes but will prob switch to washing down! (he HATES having his face wiped!! lol such a boy!!)

Loads of bibs- We got the coverall bibs that have sleeves and go right down to the waist (£3 in matalan or a bit cheaper in Asda). I still put another bib underneath too coz they are one size only and a bit small on Ethan still and stuff gets down the neck hole!. We bought a bit of pvc tablecloth fabric off ebay for our mess mat and that does the trick! I would say get loads of spoons coz Ethan likes to hold one and often throws it on the floor and then wants another (as well as the one I am then feeding him with!) and if u r lazy/busy like me I only tend to wash up at the end of the day
I have a few snack pot things with lids tuppa ware (dunno how to spell that!) basically to take with us out and about for snacks and a lunch box type thing if we are going somewhere and I am taking his lunch rather than buying it!

Yeah that's another one I've got lots of mini tubs with cut up cucumber and her rice cakes, one because they go stale quickly and two they're handy to take out xx
