Bloody Estate Agents!!!

Now excuse me if Im being dumb, but shouldnt they be a little more keen to try to sell houses!?!?!

I have phoned 3 different estate agents today to try to arrange viewings for properties tomorrow and not one of them has bloody got back to me!! Now I havent bought or sold anywhere in a long time now so I was wondering is this normal or am I just not good enought to be doing business with them? They were all keen enough round here to run round and value our place and want to stick it on the market immediatly but the other way round it seems like none of them want to know. I have even tried called 2 of them back to ask if they have been able to arrange anything.

They might just be struggling to get hold of the vendor if he/she/they are at work, to confirm if it is suitable with them to conduct a viewing with you at the proeprties you have enquired about. Trust me, they will be wanting to sell the house to anyone who can afford it as if they don't then they don't get paid.

Don't take it personally, you'll probably find they call you back after 5 or first thing in the morning to say yes or no to the viewings.

me and DH wanted to rent a house and the only way to arrange a viewing is via email. This was over a year ago and we havnt had a reply!

I think when we were looking for our house i rang the estate agents every hour to see for updates!!
Really annoying, but alot of the time it is the vendors who are holding it up... i found that alot of the time, the estate agents were leaving voicemails with the vendors and waiting for them to get back and then ringing us.

Was all a bit crazy and drawn out! (and annoying!!!)
