blocked ear - what can I take???

ok ladies I have had this blocked ear for like a week now and its driving me mad normally I would take some sudafed or decongestant and be done with it but I know I cant take anything so I was wondering if anyone knows any remedies????

it doesnt hurt so I know there isnt any infection its kind of like having a head cold but without feeling unwell!!

Olive oil is meant to be good for blocked ears put a few drops in and then cotton wool. never tried it personally but surely it can't harm. x
