could anyone recommend a good blender (the cheaper the better) for me to blend Ella's food in. I prepared some veggies for her last night and used my smoothie maker lol, it wasa bit messy and the food all got stuck at the bottom.

i have a very cheap hand held blender from argos, and it's brill! had it a while and used it for making smoothies with, and just made up ruben's first lot of food with it last week (don't worry i've not given him any yet, it's just ready in the freezer!)

it was only £4.99!

that looks different! is it easy to clean afterwards?

Here is my one... got in Lakeland for under £5. Absolutely brilliant... blends to nice puree, but doesn't overblends!!
Any kitchen shop will have it... try John Lewis!

Mines the same as Petchy's too for when I habve my slim fast, I tried it for Jaydens food but it splattered on the walls! I just mash it at the moment. Will have to find a good blender too.

I have a handheld one similar the first argos one.

I blend in a big jug so no splatter, the only "downside" to them I would say is that you have to do quite big quantities of food, they are no good for just one portion like a mouli would be, I do lots in one go though so I don't mind.

The mouli is great for if and when you want to give baby the same food that the rest of the family is eating.... minus the salf of course. :D

Desissions, desissions.... good luck finding the right one for you!
