Bleeding for 9 days

Hi,

I'm still worried. I don't know if I should go the ER or not.

Here is a bit about what is going on:

The first day of my last menstruation was the 25th of June and this lasted till the 30th of June.
I had intercourse without protection on the 2nd of July (this was btw my first day of having intercourse EVER). My cyclus consists of 26 days. I lost some brown blood on the 11th of July and this lasted for less than 24 hours.

To continue, on the 15th of July I lost blood again and this went away in the evening. Later that evening I had unprotected sex. The following day the blood came back & it was more a maroon red with a bit brown blood. Until now I'm still bleeding & the blood does not seem to increase. It only seems to decrease and when I think its finally gonna stop, it comes back!

I have done HPT's on the 18, 19, 20 & 22 July and they were all positive ( a bit fainty, but there is line). On the 15th of July I did a test aswell & that one was negative.

In addition, I don't use the pill (and never have). I don't mind having a child (I'm actually excited for a baby). However, the bleeding worries me.

Lastly, I have been to the doctor and he took a urine test. I took the urine test at 10pm and have been drinking alot that day. He didn't ask me any questions and told me I'm not pregnant so its probably your period. Nevertheless, I'm CONVINCED that this is NOT my period. 2morrow will be 10 days of bleeding...

I can btw use one sanitary towel for the whole day (so therefore I'm not bleeding much). For hygienic purposes I do change it every 2/3 hours.

Does anyone know what this is? What can I do? Am I pregnant or not... so many questionsssss.

You could ask for a referral to a gynaecologist. I had weird bleeding and other symptoms and I was sent for an ultra sound as I thought I was pregnant. I would push the doctor for a hospital referral if I were you. I had a hemorragic cyst that bled. They are not dangerous but you need to get it checked out properly in my opinion. Maybe see another doctor if you can and explain this is abnormal bleeding for you and you'd like it to be investigated.

The symptoms that I have are: fatigue, breasts that get tender by the day & feeling thirsty the whole day.

I don't know about the symptoms. I would definitely pursue more medical investigations. I guess you could be pregnant and not getting a pos yet.

I did get 5 positives (I have used 2 different HPT brands). If you read my text carefully, you can see on what dates I tested.

You had 5 positive tests. You at least were pregnant and could still be.

So, it's possible that you've had a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage and with that, there are no real rules to how it is passed, but, after 10 days, you should see your gp for a gyn referral.

Or...you're still pregnant and just bleeding randomly as some women do. If this is the case, you should still get the referral.

So sorry I misread that ... I haven't done enough pregnancy tests to be that familiar with 'HPT'. Yes you probably are pregnant! You can ask for a blood test to check pregnancy or at the very least another urine test! xx
