Birthing Pool at Derby City Hospital

Hi Ladies,

Have any of you used a birthing pool in Derby City Hospital? I'm interested in this but haven't got my tour for a few more weeks.

Any general comment on birthing pools would be grateful. I love a (hot!) bath when I have back ache or period pains so thought this might be a good source of pain releif?

there is one room with a borthing pool in it but not sure how many rooms there are...Emmalou has the tour on Monday so may well know more then

 

Yes there is one birthing poo at the hospital. I had a tour round in October the month before I had him and if you get that room, there is also a massive bean bag style chair and it's really comfy
