Hi all,

I had a CP last cycle, only getting faint lines between 13-15dpo before they went away completely.
I’ve been lucky enough to fall pregnant again this cycle and my lines have been progressing nicely.
My AF is due round about now and I started noticing some brown spotting last night (which also happened to be exactly a month since my last loss) so obviously I started to worry. I put a pad in and it is still clear this morning. I feel a bit crampier today but I’ve been cramping on and off since about 6dpo.
My test line doesn’t seem to be any darker today but it was quite dark already and my temps have gone up a bit.
I know I should put the tests down and stop temping but I’m so, so worried after last months loss even though I know there’s nothing I can do if the worst is going to happen.
Having read all this back it sounds like I’m worrying over nothing but I can’t help it!
Do many people get even CPs if the lines are this dark?

Forgot to post tests...

That's a really good progression. From what I've seen/read a cp will usually happen around the time or just before your period is due. So if you've no sign of AF today I wouldn't worry about a CP. The brown spotting you had could have easily been implantation bleed that has made its way out, especially as it was brown blood which indicates old blood. The cramping is totally normal, you'll have a few weeks of that going on while egg implants and begins to form. It'll then change from cramping to twinges/pulling pains as all the ligaments soften and begin to shift about.

It's easier said than done, and I should take my own advice, but try not to worry. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months xxx

Thank you :) My test result came back stronger than the control line this morning so things seem to be going well so far!
My doctor has given me a referral to the Early Pregnancy Clinic so I’ll at least be able to get checked out before the 8 week midwife appointment and hopefully put more of my fears to bed x
