Bf ... I love it!

Every time when max gets weighed I just love it even more!!

7lb2 born & 7 weeks in he's 11lb8 he's getting a proper little chunk and I love knowing its my milk growing him.

Can't believe I thought I wasn't going to do this before he was born! It's amazing that our bodies grow this entire life and continue to provide for it on the outside I find the whole thing overwhelming at times!

Anyone think the same?

Awwww what a lovely post.

I love it too, I don't know how much longer I'm going to bf for as I'm going back to work next week. It makes me sad but I've done 10 months so anything more will be a bonus!

I was like that too with LO . She started putting on weight the first time they weighed her 3 days after birth. It really gave my confidence a boost as I didn't have an easy time with BF for the first 3 weeks. One of the reasons I used to go and get LO weighed weekly at the local BF group was to see how she would just get chunkier and chunkier every week all on my milk alone. She actually looked like the Michelin man at 9 months and went from 45 percentile at birth to 91st a couple of months later, I was sooo proud!

BF is amazing. I'm still doing it now she's two and will be feeding the bump too.

I know right! So many people tried to put me off it and everyones so suprised when I tell them I breastfeed as apparently I 'don't seem like the type'.
Totally get the weighing thing, I was so proud when adam didnt loose any of his birth weight, it makes the hourly feeds and leaking boobs worth it
My OH is so proud aswell, and breast feediing is so much less hassle! I've started expressiing a bottle for a night feed and its so much bother getting out of bed and warming it up that it sometimes gets poured down the sink! Xx

Well done chick!!! That's an amazing weight gain!

I just took my 9 month breastfed chunk to get weighed today and she was 22.1lbs! She was 8.2lbs at birth, she's almost trebled! I love breastfeeding too!x

Amazing feeling isn't it! Its so nice to know its you that's growing the baby, true what they say about it being the 4th trimester! Im now 25 months into our breast feeding journey and think its starting to come to an end due to being pregnant, it feels good to know my son has thrived on breast milk all this time though and Im a little sad its nearly over but can't wait for my 3rd breast feeding journey to begin next summer! Enjoy those special cuddles x

I've heard people say that! Sometimes they won't nurse for a while and then will want to again when baby comes too, tandem feeding for the win!

I love it too! So convenient, and I love how much weight my little man is putting on! He's gone off with his dad today with expressed bottles and I am missing our feeds!

I love it too! Best thing ever! Hannah was only 5lb10oz and now she's 10lb12oz 10 weeks later. Proud!

I don't know why people would try and put people off, it's harder than ff at first for a lot but then it's so much easier and free and brilliant!
