I went for my sick note but i told her about the placenta Praevia, she was telling me that she had gone through it herself although not as bad as mine, she said her baby was breech and the ob had told her that the risk was the baby sticking it's foot through the cervix was a worry....my baby is breech too

She said not to worry about the lack of anti natal care because all the midwife can do is listen to the heartbeat and as long as he is moving about there isn't a problem there, we talked about the bleeding and what to do and then she said..."i'll pray for you!" haha i thought god its serious if your dr is gonna pray your ok!!

Having done my own research i know that it is very unlikely that the placenta will migrate over the next 15 weeks, and i am defo going to have a c section. All i can hope for is that i don't bleed badly, i have awful period like pains though everyday and i have to have some paracetamol and just go to bed to stop the pain - unfortunately i was woken up in the middle of the night with the pain last night :wall:

I am trying to make sure things are sorted for christmas so that if i get admitted before hand i won't have to worry so much!
I can't believe how difficult this pregnancy is for me...i thought the 4th time would be a breeze!

Oh Cixes that is a worry but they are aware of it now and you have a plan of action, plus the professionals know what they are doing, I'd take comfort in that. Take it easy and keep venting here when you need

  Thinking of you hun. Rest up as much as you can and I hope the pain eases for you.

Your GP sounds nice. Bit scary having a doctor pray for you tho!

Firstly im sorry if i sound like an idiot but.. at my 20 week scan baby was head down... I commented "oooo good girl" then the sonographer go's... its only 20 weeks, she could still move yet??

so maybe your little man will move and you wont be breech!? xx

Cixes I know how hard it is resting when you have 3 monkeys already but please try and any worries get yourself down to the hospital

Thanks for the support girls :D

I have heard that when you have placenta praevia most babies are breech due to the position of the placenta, my placenta is in a really naff place
