i'm still very nervous seeing as my bro has spina bifida and that makes me scared my mum years ago had a baby once cant remember what its called its where they dont develop a head and she had 2 have an injection in her stomach and give birth to a dead baby i'm terrified and feel like sh*t lol i feel like i dont want to eat anything grrr

well i been taking all my folic acid my higher dose (5mg) and driking a five alive drink that contains folic acid so all i can do is hope for the best really lo l

 

Good luck babes I'm sure all will be okie. Dionne had extra scans as her mum had a Spina Bifida baby so maybe ask her a little more about it? You'll get to see lots of your little one!

I was maybe supposed to get an earlier scan but my midwife said she would note down my concerns and its up to the hospital when they give appointments which is 8th august which would make me round about 10 weeks near on 11 when i'm there i'll have to say about extra scans???

 

im sure they will mention it then, but if they dont it might be worth saying something.

i will lol defo say something my mum had 2 healthy children after my bro paul and the other baby which was me and my sister and my sister has 2 healthy children so hopefully all will be well fingers crossed

my midwife booking in appointment is 25th july. i'll be about 9 weeks. i think she will arrange a scan then for about 12 weeks. its very exciting!!
