"Its Ok, She Kicks For Her Daddy Then Falls Back To Sleep Comforted When My Hand Is There." I Just Thought That Was Such a Sweet Explanation For It

My OH was kicked in the back by LO the other night in bed!

And last night for the first time he actually felt her when she was in one of her frenzies! She has a mad few minutes everyday (after I have my daily orange!) and he normally misses it but last night he had a load of HUGE kicks, he was totally loving it!!!

ell apparently.. about 8 weeks the babys sences are fully developed..so they can sence touch..and if theres pressure on the tummy, thats warm i suppose they lay still? i dunno.. mine does the same tho.. alex hasnt felt the baby yet..

My DH & DD were both totally shocked the other night when they could see my bump jumping all over the show from the other side of the room

Mine does exactly the same thing.. I'll ask my DH to put his hand on my belly and the minute he does "it" stops kicking, yet with my hand there "it" happily kicks away for ages... unless we are playing the game of course... "it" kicks me we poke back, so "it" kicks the same spot again.

I think Flump knows when the doppler is out cos he now moves as soon as I find him. I think he is being naughty already LOL!

Same here...LO always stops as soon as I say "come and feel this!" So I whisper it now! It's worked a few times! I thought it was maybe my voice that made LO stop rather than the feeling.

heh heh, yeah, ours does the same. kicks, he puts his hand there, stops, he takes it away, kicks again.

it's so predictable that he can even "pretend" to take his hand away and put it back quickly to feel the next kick!

we've got a good game going on.

Funny thing is, the two really bad nights I've had with her going nuts in there at 3am, fists and feet, were the two nights DH wasn't there. So I think there's really something in it, she misses her daddy when he's not around!

we havent been able to feel anything yet from the outside - i feel her moving about in there but when either me or OH put hands on my belly we cant feel anything... she tends to stop moving around...
