Hi Guys, our lil girl is almost 4 weeks old and we have had three baths in a typical top to tail bath but with her gaining an ounce per day this is getting hard for hubby to hold her (in the standard arm around the neck, hand gripping opposite shoulder while baby floats hold)...we have been looking at bath supports and have found this one...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281665292301?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

is it any good? What has everyone else done? I know I should also try having a bath with her but not totally confident would be able to keep her warm (ours is a corner bath) or prevent her slipping down me (again the weight lol)...any suggestions?

I think that one looks really good. Similar to the one I had.

They're really only useful until baby starts wriggling though (all bath seats like this, I mean).

By the time DS was three months, I just had a rubber bath mat in the bottom of the bath, ran an inch of water and bathed him like that. Made life a lot easier as didn't need to actually hold him at all then.

I used a baby bath I think twice, hated it, never again xx

Angel care bath support all the way. We tried a few before settling on that and had it Til lo was 7 months old x

Thanks guys, the reviews look good also so have purchased one second hand, like the idea Lacy for when she's older but we'll see how she gets on...my hubby will breathe a sigh of relief when it arrives lol and myself too for another option when he goes back to work. Atm we are doing once a week on Sundays but eventually will become a nighttime routine...

Tippitoes newborn bath with inbuilt bath support - around £12 of amazon. Best item we bought. Bathed her on the kitchen island in this til she was nearly 6 months old saving my bad back from having to bend over the normal bath. I can't praise it enough (and my daughter was quite a big girl and it lasted her really well.).

I have used the angel care bath support since birth and my baby loves it! We give him a paddle out of it too now he's bigger (3mt) but I loved it and would recommend. I didn't want a bulky baby bath cluttering up the place! X
