wow got up this morning come on here and noticed my ticker says baby is the size of a banana.

i was seeing a banana on other peoples tickers and thinking oh im ages away from a banana and all of a sudden it is here. seems like a couple of days ago i was just an onion. lol.

feeling baby more and more. felt it kick with my hand the other day. kept doing it for about 15 mins then oh put his hand on exactly the same and it stopped.

put mine back on and it started again. poor daddy. baby being naughty for him already. lol.

I love this thread. I get perplexed by my fruits. I mean, I'm now on a papaya but a papaya isn't as long as a banana!!! I know because I compared them in the market the other day! Also, earlier on the fruit ticker there is something else that seems the wrong way round!!! Ho hum...bring on the watermelon!!!

I get excited every week to see what fruit/veg baby is now lol

I have had the same thought about the fruits being muddled at some points, unless they are going by some mutant fruits that they got in jsut for creating the ticker sizes

hmmm maybe at the moment baby is only a kid sized banana (like the disney packed ones in tesco) and then later on it will be a proper adult sized banana?

Hahaha...no...on the ticker it shows the order but the large picture isn't exactly in the middle. There's only one banana and then it's followed by a papaya. Oh my god, I'm getting obsessed by fruit!!!

I;m less shocked at the obsession with fruit and more shocked that you say you can see your baby kicking, or feel it when you put a hand on your stomach! I am barely sure I've felt baby move in me yet....and I'm 21 weeks!

i love how we are all now insane and questioning the fruit sizes on the ticker. maybe they are fruits grown for giant gruit comps. lol.

its only been the last couple of days i have felt it on my hand. xxx

I havent got a fruit ticker and feel all left out !! Although I hope my baby doesnt grow to the size of the watermelons we buy here.. as the smallest we buy is generally about 6-7 kilos so about 14lbs+ lol Dont fancy pushing that out !

I love my fruit ticker, but the last few weeks when I've said to my Mum it's gone from a lime, to a plum to a peach etc she says "they're all the same size!" Lol!
