Today me and OH have been looking around the shops for a walker for Calleigh for when she is big enough.
However i want to know whether they move well on carpet. Our flat is carpeted in the lounge, halls and bedrooms.
Just dont want to buy one and find out that LO cant move around easily.

Does anybody find that the walker works just as well on carpet, if so which one do you have?
I have my eye on the chicco dj walker as that seems to get great reviews :)

Hey Charlie  I got one of these with carpet, not sure if it makes a difference yet though as Rubes just sort of dances in it :rotfl: Its great though xx

Have you seen Midnas seed in action in this thing!!! one minute you see her then shes off!!!!! I wouldnt want to race her

we have some carpets and some wood. Hubby removed the brake pads on the walker so goes fine on the carpet now :D

We've got the Chicco DJ walker and it's been OK on our carpet, even with some of the brake pads on, but our carpet isn't very thick.
When I took it to my parents' place, we had to take all the brake pads off as their carpet is much thicker, but it still worked.

we just bought one and have mainly carpet. I have just put some off cuts of lino from the bathroom down below it til she gets the idea

We didn't bother with the brake pads either...

Is it ok to take them off then?? poor ruby been really struggling with it poor thing its been like she got bricks for feet!!

Ok then thats decided i will buy her the dj walker and leave the brakes off

Cheers girls :)
