We want to take our LG swimming next weeks, she is 11 weeks but only weighs around 10lbs. Most of the baby swimming outfits start 3-6 months, she will only just fit in 0-3 months, she hates her chest being exposed so needs to be in something that protects her. Having a nightmare finding something suitable if anyone has any suggestions. Don't want to spend a fortune either,

I'm not sure, sorry!

I know mothercare do a baby warmer but that starts at 3 months x

Unfortunately, we just had to wait with our daughter - she was only 3lb 11oz at birth and took ages to get into any 0-3m normal stuff, let alone swimwear. Is there a special reason you need to take your LO swimming next week? I did have a quick check online but can't find any small baby swimwear, sorry x

I've got happy nappy, look on their website they do suits too, not sure if they have the right size but might be worth having a look x

We've looked at the happy nappy costumes, went to order it then realised it won't arrive in time, I think my local mothercare have a 0-3 month one in stock, just hope it isn't too big for her.

Ella, we are going next week as hubby off work and can come and help me as I'm a bit nervous going myself to start.

Well I got lucky and took a chance calling my local mothercare, they had 1 in stock in 0-3 months, tried it on our little lady and she looks so cute. I think more places sell stuff early in the summer. I know not many people will take a newborn swimming but not every baby fits in the size that is meant to be. There should just be a wider range for babies. Those look great miss impatient, agree pricey but great if you will get enough use out of it.

I bought LO a happy nappy and a baby wrap from splash about for his swimming lessons - we are not allowed in the pool without the happy nappy. I don't think it fits him that well and saw another baby in his class who had a different brand on that fitted much better. It is this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00...y+swimwear&dpPl=1&dpID=51phje2EXtL&ref=plSrch and much cheaper!

Glad you got something sorted x
