Baby Phoebe is here!

I'm really pleased to announce that my niece Phoebe arrived safe and sound yesterday at 10:24am by planned C-section. 39 wks and 2 days and she weighed 8lb 14oz

My sister and brother in law are over the moon! She's totally gorgeous. Everything was well with her so they were allowed to take her home yesterday.

As I'd had a C-section I had to stay in. To be honest I am struggling quite a bit with the pain. I was allowed home this afternoon but have been in tears from pain. I've been taking co-codamol and ibroprufen for the pain but it's just not touching it at all. I'm hoping that when the community midwife comes tomorrow she may be able to give me something stronger. Fingers crossed!!

Apart from the pain though, being a surrogate for my sister has been wonderful. Seeing her and my brother in law at the hospital cuddling their long awaited daughter and knowing I made that possible has been amazing
