I put my baby in the bed cot and went to sleep and when I woke up he moved from one end of the bed cot to the other end. Are there any good thick protective cushions for the bed cot rail? I don't want him to bang his head whilst I'm a sleep.

We use cot bumpers but tie then around the ends of the cot rather than down the sides, as she started banging her head in the night. Worked wonders for us.
She's constantly on the move all night.

You can get breathable cot bumpers that tie with Velcro which are safer than the usual cot bumpers as they are a suffocation and strangulation risk. Argos have a good selection.

We've never ever had bumpers on our LO's cot and he moved sbout all the time - you woukdnt believe The positions he gets in - but he's never hurt himself.

If it were me I wouldn't bother with a bumper but if you do wasnt one get a mesh one.

Thst said, I honestly woukdn't worry about it.

How old is he? Could you try swaddling?

He's nearly 4 months, I've tried swaddling but he doesn't like it.

I to would say the air wrap bumpers, I never used anything but once baby starts moving they don't recommend bumpers.

I have breathable mesh bumpers for our cot bed . I got mine from amazon they do them in a variety of colours and patterns , I wouldn't use anything else . ☺
