I've noticed over the last few day my lo doesn't seem to like feeding from left breast. He struggles to latch on then falls off often, he makes lots of groaning noises like he is in pain 😞 I can't see any difference between the breasts and wonder what can be wrong? Any ideas?

Is he ok on the right? Have u tried the rugby ball hold? My son didn't like feeding from the left so had to rugby ball hold him so he was still lying on his right but tucked under my arm. X

They often seem to prefer one side more than the other. I had to use rugby ball hold with my first too so she was latching on from the same anglor way on both if that makes any sense. I wonder if it depends of with hand we write with? I'm right handed so wondering if I'm more capable of getting them in to a better position on my right!? It all just takes practice! Xxx

I found my last son had a preference little bugger and he would really fight not to feed from that side, but just get comfy and try different holds and see how he gets on. Just keep persevering!!! x

Mine preferred the right and had a difficult time latching on with the left. Eventually I found a better position for her and now she doesn't care. Rugby for the right side and across my tummy for the left.
