what do you all think of this?

the reason i ask is because my friends twin girls do it regularly and she gave me their agents number to see if they would be interested in aiden.

i phoned last week, posted pictures off etc, she just phoned back to say they'd be very interested and they would now like to forward his photo to a selection panel who will say yes or no basically..

my friends girls really seem to enjoy it and there is no up front/annual fees or anything, they take 1/3 of the modelling fee, so i'm thinking whats the harm?

does anyone else kids do it?

thanks :D

I've been looking into this too. I sent off some piccys of Sam to one called Bizzykids they have accepted him and want a one off payment of £120 :? I'm not paying out money though I'd rather register him some that is free and they take a percentage if he gets work.

emma is you want the website of the one we're using pm me :)

their a nationwide agency :D

xx

Maddison has been accepted to BizzyKidz but havent sent money yet as I'm not sure its all cosher

I'm not sure whether it's above board and i'm def not sending them £120 I haven't got :shakehead:

http://www.albamodelinformation.com has bizzykidz as one of their a-list companies. it does say in their small print that the money is not for them but for the printers and online people... connor's been accepted, but i haven't done anything about it yet as i share the same reservations. from the research i've done thus far, it all seems to be above board. :)

No reputable modelling company will ask for money upfront. I can guarantee if you sent pictures of your child to every modelling company that asks for payments they will accept he/she regardless.

there is no up front/annual fees or anything,

mate checked out the link and under the Q&A it says

Only if you are successful and made an Offer of a Model Representation are you then invited to make a very modest contribution towards the initial setup costs equal to no more than £42.66 a year

so althouhg its not as much as some at £120 cost it seems like their is an anual fee of £42.6 plus 1/3 of your fee.

I just noticed that too :? Where are the proper agencies?

There is one, I remember someone posting it about a year ago, can't remember who though, ill try and search for it later. IIRC its pretty hard to get in to it and accepted, which TBF sounds about right as if its a reputable company IMO they won't just accept everyone because their books would be overloaded! This one deffo had no fees at all and was the agency for some child stars iirc like David Platt from corrie, darren from Emmerdale and finnlay from corrie.

sorry girls - didn't notice that fee till after i'd posted :?

i just had a phonecall and email to say that aiden had been accepted so next step would be to pay the contract fee - you can pay for a 1 year, 2 year or 3 year contract - the 3 year one being the £120.

i think we will pay it and go ahead, because i know the company is genuine and that he will get some jobs :) it's a start to his trust fund at least :D

if you's want i'll keep you all updated on whats going on incase anyone is thinking of using the company :)
