Baby getting hiccups?

I keep reading about how your baby can develop hiccups and how we'll probably feel it when they do. I've no idea what this would feel like so that must mean I've not come across it yet.

Has anyone else's LO had hiccups yet? How do you establish that its hiccups?

Mine gets hiccups a few times most days to me it feels like a muscle spasm/twitch and it's equally spaced time wise just like when you get hiccups..... it's really cute my little dude just had them again 5 mins ago !

At one point in my first pregnancy, I went to my midwife and asked if they could run any tests to see if the baby had epilepsy as he was constantly (and rhythmically) making small sharp jumps inside me - i was really worried.
Then she explained that this was hiccups! It's the maddest thing in the world - like having one of those twitches in your eye that no-one else can see but you're convinced that your whole face is convulsing and about to explode!! lol

It feels like kicks but very regular and not as strong. Felt Pip's hiccups for the first time this week. Was so weird! Lol!
