Babies Poo

When do babies poos start to solidify to more like ours?? Harry's are getting harder and dont know if this is normal or whether he is becoming constipated as we changed his food recently!!!

Calleigh still has runny poos.

As far as i am aware as long as the baby doesnt have any problems passing the stool then baby should be ok.
I think when they are constipated they tend to struggle passing the stool and then its hard like rabbit droppings.

Someone may come along with better advise hun as i havent had a constipation problem as yet.

Luke's have only just changed since he has been eating proper food, but they aren't solid.

Call your health visitor and check with her just in case. I don't know if that's normal on formula. We still have explosive breast milk poos

millie did her first solid (ish) poo after we introduced solids. x

I was told that bottle fed babies poo should be like toothpaste consistency, but my LOs did change occasionally. They have only become more solid now she is eating real food.
