Avo Boy...

Oscar really surprised me today, when he ate a quarter of an avocado pear. He absolutely loved it.
After I had taken a break from feeding him solids, he has just gone mad for it. He has tried a few things now (i'm not doing the 4 day rule).

I am really happy with his progress. He's also not so keen on the sloppy stuff - seems to prefer something with a bit of substance...... picky already! He also scream blue murder when it's finished. Should I really give him more or not?

In return, we've had some interesting poo's today.... uhmmmmmm

Ah bless him - i've heard a lot of people saying their babies like avocado. i hat the stuff so not tried it yet (tend to buy stuff i like so mummy can have a taste!!)

poos definately get more interesting once you start fruit and veg! saw our hv today and havent told her about solids yet (she is totally anti before 6 months and i dont want t argue about it ) went to take alex's nappy off and there was a very solid little poo in there!! had to quickly wrap it up before she saw - would def have given the game away dont get them like that with milk!

alex loved banana & peach or banana & mango when i was first trying fruit. must say they tasted pretty good to me too!

Rubie did solid poo's about a month ago and she wasn't on solids

have heard of babies doing this sometimes. dont know why though. did they go back to normal or are they still solid?

kim - eva's did that for a while. they are back to normal now though.

if he cries for more i would give him a bit extra emilia. is it helping him sleep better? eva isnt too fussed on her solids. the only thing she opens her mouth for is her cereal. she has started gagging for anything else now haha i'm going to only give her some breakfast for a while i think.
