August Bank Holiday it is...

You know when you get one of those days where you are feeling like you just cant wait any longer and you dive to your calendar to try and make it seem all so much closer? Well, today is one of those days. (They are getting closer together too. )

Today I have worked out that it will be Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August will be the first time we get to I actually love that little picture! The DH is booked in for his reversal. We have to wait 24 days and then its GO, GO, GO!!

Dream is to be pregnant by Xmas. Its a dream so keeping feet on ground. The DH says it will be just his luck we fall instantly as the poor man is concentrating on making up for the 24 days without so much as a twinge! ha ha!

I have already started him on Wellman vitamins and I am on Pregnacare Conception tablets. Little does he know his Bud supply will be vanishing soon too...

Anyone else been through this feel free to send advice as this will be my first.

When waiting TTC it is a hugh challenge, I had to stop myself when I just got with my OH as we both knew we wanted a child together. It was a battle but we waited for 2 years, however one of us would always be the weaker one. We still managed to play safe. Like you, I started to take supplements but my OH refused. Our waiting is over now as TTC, good luck we your time and its great you are both preparing youself, try not to be too strict on him you don't want it to be stressful by the time your ready TTC. Hi Faithangle,

Thanks for your post. Well done on waiting so long! How long did you take supplements for? Not sure the DH would have agreed to taking his ones if he wasn't going for the reversal. He knows that he is starting behind the start line on this one. I do have to remind him to take them every now and again.
Your advice is good advice. Even the surgeon said 'if having a beer or two relaxes you, then have a beer - just not a keg'
