Asthma's bad again!

Just getting over a cold (very frequent in this pregnancy!!!! ) and its now effecting my asthma. So frustrated. My OH is on nights tonight and is so lovely and has took LO swimming. AH!!! Just sad that I am missing out. Love to see her enjoy herself. But... I am being really good and not trying to do anything. (remarkable for me!!!)

Can you still take ventolin etc.. when you are pregnant?

Its not gone good. Inhaler wasn't doing much so rang NHS direct and they sent me to A&E. Had a nebulizer which helped for a very short while. But they let me go home. Doctor prescribed me oral steriods. Same thing happenned last month but the doctor was cautious about steriods and now I don't know whether to take them or not. Pleased to be at home and OH is looking after me really well. I hope it starts to improve.

sorry topbird, yes inhalers are fine to take, I have asked my GP and midwife many times just to make sure!

I sympathise with your asthma problems. My DS has asthma, and hayfever, and is suffering a bit at the moment. Does it affect you when the pollen count is high too? He gets a lot of headaches.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed the LO won't take after his big brother.
