Arianna has a cold!!

What can I use for her? She has a really runny nose and a little bit of a cough.

I have the Calpol version or Vicks on her chest. But is there any medicines I can try... am a bit funny now about that thing in the news the other month with the strange additives in them all.

im not sure? i used nose drops to help keep alices nose clear the last cold she had.

Hey hon,

my little one has a runny nose and sore throat too - in fact her voice has gone all hoarse which sounds really odd. I am making sure she has plenty of feeds, fluids and rest. I have only given her calpol once when she felt really hot.

When Jake had a cold I would rub mild vapour rub from Boots on his chest and plug in a Karvol room vapouriser in in his room which helps to clear their nose. The vapour rub is £1.99 and the plug is £5.99 and comes with 3 refills which last 2 or 3 nights each.

Also you can buy cot raisers or you could raise one end of the cot with something else so that she is not lying flat.
