Arghhhhhh! Conjunctivitis!

I have conjunctivits and guess what.. I can't use anything for it cos I am breastfeeding.

How sucky is that? I have to suffer with my hot, sticky and swollen eye

How weird. They can't even give you the ointment? You rub it around the eye and a bit on it. What does it contain that is bad for baby?

Galen had conjunctivitus and has had both the drops and the ointment for his eye.

My sister in law had it when she was breastfeeding, she caught it from her son and breastmilk cleared it up for him. Doc told her to do the same (we had a good laugh over her trying to figure out how to aim) and it was cleared up within days.

conjunctivitis is one of the most contagious things ever make sure u wash ur hands after touching ur eye so ur baby dont get it too

Yeah, I know. I've had it several times since childhood. It always starts with some sot of eye irritation with me and then escalates to this. This time is was Johnson's Baby Soap in the shower

I always make very sure that I am careful and I'm an obsessive hand washer anyway I had it when I was PG with Luke too.

why don't you try camomile extract? It might take a bit longer than normal medicines but it still clears it up. My LO had it and I only used that and it was gone in a few days.

Ive never heard of that one.. where would I get it from?
