This is driving me crazy - i'm constantly in 2 minds!

Basically part of me really wants to get pregnant, and is looking forward to becoming a mother etc but the other part of me is wondering what the rush is?

I am 25 years old, and have been married a year. I really need to lose about 2 stone in weight :wall: And have recently discovered drinking in town again. :D

Does anyone else feel really torn, or do you know that ttc is the right thing for you?
Should i be i two minds like this? xx

sometime i feel like i am in 2 minds

As i so want a baby & but on other hand i know i am very young & should finish my study.

But i want a baby more than that so this is why i am here

:cheer:

I just want to be a mother.

Its a big change hun, theres nothing stopping you treating yourself after having a baby. Its not like you will never go out again  Its up to you though

If I was only 25 I would feel that way for sure, in fact I remember being 25 and I was definetly more interested in the bars. But that doesn't mean you should feel that way too. You are obviously settled in a great marriage and if you have youth on your side then all the better for you. I would just relax and have fun. Don't use contraception and when you find out you are preggers enjoy that too.

Don't feel guilty. I know for sure I put more presure on myself because I'm in my thirties and if I was younger and in my exact same potition in terms of marriage and being ready for kids I know I would not feel so rushed.

You're going to be just fine Bex xx

I think its only natural! I was 21 when I fell pregnant with my son, a nice surprise we call him...I had just finished Uni, was loving working full time, spending all my hard earned cash and wham..a BFP!
I could probably count on two hands the amount of nights out I've had since he was born(he just turned 2!) but the only thing that has changed is that I appreciate them SO much more now...we tend to have people round on a Saturday night for a chinese, few drinks etc now or bbq's through the summer...going out getting drunk bores me now, I hate getting up with a hangover and getting ratty with my son because I'm feeling rough, its not fair on him...thats why he goes to Grandmas when we've got as big night out :D

my oh and his mates have started talking about going to glastonbury next year and it's made me feel a bit like 'why am I wanting to be tied to dirty nappies and bottles again when James is just starting school?' Obviously if we've got a young baby me and oh won't be able to go cos whilst his mum would look after James for the weekend, she wouldn't look after a baby, and to be honest I wouldn't want to leave a baby. With James I know he knows where we are and he'll have fun with his grandparents.
On the positive though, if I don't get pg I can look forward to going to glastonbury instead :D

I think it's natural to be in 2 minds, at least it shows you've thought about what your going into.

Thanks again guys, i guess you are right - my life doesn't have to stop when a child comes along. :D

Funnily enough, DH had been thinking yesterday too. after our mc, he originally said he wanted to wait until next year but out of the blue he has said he wants to start trying again! :cheer:

One quick question tho - we bd'ed last night , but i have just been to the loo and there was lots of clear cm. Have i ovulated or do i have time for another bd before then? x
