Dear me proper worked up at the moment
My birthing partner has been good all along, but through her own stuff she gets really over bearing and controlling and makes me look daft in front of midwifes etc
So I've taken abit of a step back after giving her gentle hints about my birth plan , as some of you may know babies dad and myself have been on an off through the entire pregnancy thankfully we don't live together so it's been easy to shut off from I agreed for him
To be at the birth and now his boss has decided to stick him on a big job which is a nightmare to get to and from with traffic as it's a main motorway link ... he's protested to the max as his boss knew about the baby being due since last year and he missed most of his other daughters life due to her mum.
I don't want to put extra strain on it as it is his boss and he's only been in this job since September and under taking new training , but I can't bend over anymore and go out my way if his boss is making it difficult they won't send anyone else on the job due to money as he's still learning so better to send him to work but ends up working 15 hour days and leaving at stupid times and getting home late on at night and being in the worst moods due to being over tired and stressed. I don't want to stop him being there but I'm sick of always pandering around his stuff.
My sisters now pushing herself as my birthing partner but we don't have that kind of relationship and I'm not comfortable with her being it but she always does what she wants because she's older
I feel as if I have no control over my own birth and the people I want there!
