oh my god, i have had to turn the sound of now and again so i cant hear what thay are saying, its revolting and makes me never want to take my princess marley to the vet.. i have to tho, soon as she need to be sorted before baby arrives...
How can ppl that work with animals being so uncaring. its making my tummy turn. :shakehead:

Yes - its making me sick, they are a bunch of con artists and dont care about the animals

I was absolutely sickened by that program, these people are meant to care and tend to your pets when they need help and comfort the most - when they're scared and in pain. Absolutely disgusting.

This sounds really bad but we refused to watch it!! Just watching the advert for it made me feel physically sick!!

We have 6 cats and I knew if i'd have seen one that looked like one of ours being mis treated i'd have been in pieces!

I'm not usually one to shy away from watching programmes like that because I think we need to be aware that this type of thing happens but I just couldn't watch it!

I'm a childminder and an ex nursery nurse and always watch programmes about bad chilminder/nurserys so I can keep informed about whats going on but the vet programme was a no no for us last night!

I saw it and thought it was so horrible on those poor animals. The old vet I took my cats to was taken over by medivet and I wasnt too impressed with them so went to a different vet not part of a chain and I am very happy with them. I hope they dont get bought out by medivet.

I know if our vets were ever bought out by a chain I wouldn't use them, medivet or not. I don't think chains have the priorities you'd expect from a vet (ie pet care, not money!) It does make you wonder what goes on behind closed doors though. One of my cats is so scared when she goes to the vet that she wets herself - as soon as the carrier comes out she can't control herself and just wees. She had a terrible abscess on her tail when she was a kitten that took a lot of treatment to heal so it's obviously had an effect on her, those poor animals probably won't forget either!
