I'm just wondering if any knows how the soldiers who are in places like Afghanistan etc vote in the election? Really random question but I'm really interested x

Yep, we can vote anywhere in the world via postal vote. It can be a bit of a faff to sort out though!

It's Postal Vote or vote by proxy at the moment. So many of the armed forces, away from home (which face it, is most of the time!) haven't used their votes for years because the regulations on voting made it so complicated.

I know I have a link regarding voting for armed forces...I'll see if I can find it later (am at work and SO shouldn't be on here at all before 1pm! Good job my boss is a star...)
