I've got one hun, ask away... 
I had to take my first one back after a few days cos there was a fault with the mouthpiece but since I got a new one its been ok.
Absolutely amazing phone, the camera is excellent and the videos are just like DVD quality, I didnt believe it myself til I got one!

whats signal like on it? (when im in the room with my dad he has a k750 and i hav a d900 both o2 his signal can be full and mine NONE)
Does it have photo phonebook?
Does it save text msgs to a sentbox/outbox etc?
is it loud? ringtones etc
whats battery life like?
cant think of the other questions but ill be back when i rememebr

lol you dont sound silly, I was asking loads of questions before I bought mine!
The signal - its only as good as the network coverage in your area, if you're on T mobile you can go to their website and put in your postcode and it'll tell you how much signal strength you'll get. If its another network then if you ring them and ask what its like in your area they should tell you. Mines always been fine.
You can assign photos to contacts so when you're scrolling through your phonebook you see a different picture for each person - I think thats what you mean?
When you send a text it saves them to your sentbox but you might be able to turn that feature off, I've never really tried!
Its VERY loud lol! I use the MP3 player quite a bit and if you turn the volume up to 100% its loud enough to hear anywhere in the house, probably half way down the street aswell
The sounds also really clear though.
Battery life - I wont lie, its the worst I've ever had on a phone but only cos I use mine alot for the internet and stuff. I put mine on charge every night so at least its full in the morning. If I dont use it alot it lasts about 2 days.

lol i want the sentbox, on my stupid d900 it wont chuffin do it, unless you scroll down in the sending options, instead of just texting quick id need to mess about so when i send a text and get a reply 6 hours later i havent a clue what there on about hahah
that battery life is great, my d900 needs charging everyday and sometimes it doenst even last till the end of the day!

Well I bought one so I would have to say yes!
I would buy it for the camera if nothing else, its really good!
