anyone go private for tongue tie correction? prices?

Hi girls.

I've just been quoted £1600+ to have Isla's tongue tie corrected

I'm sure this is A LOT. Has anyone else gone private here? How much did you pay?

i was quoted £150 for consultation and £15 more if he does the procedure.

Hi Clairey, don't know if this might be of assistance to you but at the bottom of this article it says

How do I go about having my baby's tongue tie divided?
You will need to be referred to one of the centres listed in the Non UNICEF resources section. A breastfeeding counsellor or health professional can refer you.

I still haven't heard back from the hospital about Oscar's so need to chase them now but if we hit a dead end, I'm going to try and get a referral to the Chelmsford hospital as it is nearest. It seems to indicate that it is NHS funded

ive left lelands , its already too late for breastfeeding and have been told it should affect his speech etc , will check at his year check up with consultant tho .
