Can you recommend a place for me to stay?

I'm trying to sort out my holiday but there are just TOOOOOOO many hotels to pick from

I've been to New York twice. First time we stayed at the Hotel Edison which was just off Times Square. We thought it was an ideal location as we were right in the thick of it.
Second time we stayed at the COmfort Inn which was 1 block away from the Empire State Building and we could see it from our hotel window.
The Edison was a nicer hotel with nicer rooms and they were bigger than the Comfort Inn but the Comfort Inn was cheaper and to be honest you're not in your room a lot when you're there.

I'm jealous - would love to go back!

Thanks hun! I'll check those out, sometimes I wish there was a little less choice.. haha

I'm sure we got breakfast thrown in at the Edison too. There are loads of lovely hotels and it's so easy to get about it doesn't really matter where you stay. When are you going?

Ooooh. breakfast too? Bonus.

I'm going in October for 5 nights, I hope that is long enough to see the sights!

The first time I went was for 5 nights and we saw everything we wanted to. We were knackered at the end of it though!!!
Both times I went have been in September and it was really hot so October will be lovely.

If you can try to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and go to Juniors in Brooklyn. They do the most amazing cheesecakes and the slices are huge!!

I am really looking forward to the food, god bless america! Cheesecakes/pancakes/pretzels/bagels mmmm I will be a ten tonne tess when I get back

When we stayed in New York we satyed at the grand hyatt which is near grand central station. Very nice hotel and lovely resteraunt!
xxx

I've been a ton of times, but I usually stay in a youth hostel there in chelsea.

Everyone stays in times square area but I find soho a much better location, other than times square itself there's nothing of great interest in that direct vicinity
